It’s All in How You Look at It.
Enlightened Landscape
Photographic Works
“There are two people in every picture,” visionary photographer Ansel Adams, once wrote. “The photographer and the viewer.” The exhibit, Enlightened Landscape, draws viewer and photographer together yet again, engaging them in the thorny debate. What is the meaning and value of photography? Particularly with regard to the subject of landscapes? Is the photographic print merely a document of what is and was? Or is it an interpretive work of artistic expression through which its creator is able to shed new light on a familiar subject, elevating it to unexpected levels of intellectual and emotional complexity? Enlightened Landscape is a photographic journey. One that explores these, and other issues through amazing images and astonishing technical virtuosity.
